PT– O livro aborda, em versos, uma temática muito presente no universo infantil:
a diferença entre crianças e adultos. No decorrer das páginas, a criança vai se
deparando com situações conhecidas, em que o adulto pode fazer várias
coisas que a criança ainda não pode. Ao mesmo tempo, a autora também
descreve situações que coloca em destaque o lado bom e mágico de ser
criança. O poema, entrelaçando os dois universos – o adulto e o infantil – coloca
em cena tanto o ponto de vista do adulto, quanto o da criança. As ilustrações,
sempre muito bem-humoradas, caminham lado a lado com cada estrofe,
construindo a magia típica dos livros infantis.
