PT- O livro narra a história de um reino em que uma estranha lei vigorava: o riso era proibido. O gigante-monarca reinava absoluto, proibindo todos de rirem. Entretanto a população do reino cansou de viver assim e se organizou para dar um fim a essa proibição.

O ilustrador

Neste livro, tive o prazer de interpretar o texto da autora e minha amiga ‘Cristina Mestres’, nesta história pude colocar as minhas ideias e narrativas, que não só complete o texto, mas que também seja uma relação de palavra e imagem.

In the kingdom of laughter

EN- The book tells the story of a kingdom in which a strange law applied: laughter was forbidden. The giant monarch reigned supreme, forbidding everyone to laugh. However, the people of the kingdom got tired of living like this and organized themselves to put an end to this ban.

The illustrator

In this book, I had the pleasure of interpreting the text by the author and my friend ‘Cristina Mestres’. In this story, I was able to put my own ideas and narratives, which not only complete the text, but are also a relationship between word and image.
